Sep. 17th, 2007 09:28 pmWhat a neat day, mostly!
I started things out by heading to the Black Drop to get a cup of coffee.
That was pretty cool.
Then I walked down to Maniacs and had a look around. It's NEAT! They've got the jars and bins of roasted beans out on the counter where people can see and smell them. They measure and grind beans for your cup of drip just like they do for espresso, and then brew it right into your cup by hand! It was the most delicious cup of coffee I've had in a long time. It's nice to see people making as big a deal out of drip as they do espresso!
I went to work and work was cool. I'm kinda organizing this bake sale for the Cascade Cares Committee, and it looks like it's gonna be a raging success.
Plus I get to draw stuff, which is cool.
I got home and ate leftover salmon for dinner with 1/4 c brown rice and a huge plate of salad. The boys had brought the dishes out from their room and attempted to was them. There was still crud on the dishes, so I re-washed them and put them away. While I was eating in my room I heard the boys clattering around with dishes and at first I thought they had unloaded the dishwasher, but now it looks like they didn't. You know, as there are still dishes in the dishwasher. Maybe they went and bought their own dishes?
Crazy.
Oh, well. Not much I can do.
I did try to talk to Josh today. At work. He didn't even look in my direction.
