Update, 23 hours since last cigarette

This is the worst thing ever and how does anyone ever quit smoking.

You can do it, Allie! I hope Alex doesn't mind me saying but he got some materials from the health department which included a support network and I think it helped him a lot. Also, I bet you could call Alex and he'd talk you through the hard times. After all, he's been there.

here's the thing, teri... there are no bad parts, in particular, it's an endless mass of misery, apart from the four blessed hours of sleep that I wrung out of two tylenol pms.

You can do it, Allie! Try to focus on something else. Do the dishes, fold the laundry, clean the catbox, scrub the floors. Call someone if you need to (including me.)

I hear the withdrawal symptoms only last for a few days. If you can tough that out, it becomes a lot easier.
