Praying Mantises

It is the summer of the praying mantis here. Apparently we had such a hot summer, the town is being overrun by little golden and emerald mantises. I think they're great. I'd rather have them in my apartment than the big yellow spiders I ocasionally see.

There's one living in the store... I chased her around for about a half hour yesterday at the beginning of my shift, and then I just decided "fuck it... she can stay and eat all the bugs she wants."

But they're everywhere.

I love mantises, such useful insects, and so much prettier than spiders.
