More Waiting!

Well, he didn't get paid yet. Maybe he'll be here tomorrow. Maybe later. God, I hate waiting.

But the house is effing spotless. I am clean, I am shaven, I am peeled and moisturized. I have outfits picked out, new sheets, and some lovely scented candles. I even have a shopping list.

I'm ready. Finally.

He says he's leaving seattle tomorrow. He has a very nice voice.

Cassie says "Sqwak! snort."

Cassie says "Wuff!"

Does anyone have any idea at all why my cat keeps making dog noises??

Really, though, she has the most extraordinary range of utterances I've ever heard in a cat. My brother-in-law once told me that she yells my name when she's scared.

He's coming...

He arrives tomorrow afternoon! So now, I apply lotion and deoderant, go to work, get home straighten up, sleep six hours, make the bed, freshen up and wait.

I'm so excited.
