(no subject)

My house is tidy and I'm almost caught up on my mail pile. Of course, Loki got into the garbage last night and I just didn't have time to clean it up this morning, so it's a little less tidy than it was when I went to bed, but oh well. I'm cleaning out the fridge tonight (scary). I've decided that if I can keep the house tidy for a month, I'll buy myself a present, like a new set of sheets or some new towels. It would be nice to have more than one towel. So I'll re-evaluate on 02/13 (which is when I finished the vacuuming and whatnot), which is also right before my mid-month payday, the perfect opportunity to buy myself a present.

I'm going to clean my bedroom too, and then if I can keep that clean for a month, I might buy myself these for my bedroom. And maybe some white christmas lights as well.

I've set up a bill board to help me get organized about my monthly bills, and some of the places I'm making payments to these days, and it's set up with the amounts due each month, the account numbers, and the remittance addresses, so that I'll be all set up for getting things sent out on time. I even bought envelopes and stamps.

Everything fell apart this summer, and I'm finally working on setting up structures that will allow me to put things back together.
