Jul. 6th, 2007 05:52 pmUnpacked more boxes and such today. Have not yet worked up the balls to go to the old apartment. Ran out of hangers.
Sadly, the riot of books on my bookshelves are destroying the peaceful image I wanted for my room. I considered getting rid of all of them, but that's a no-go. How come people never have paperback books in home decorating magazines?
I have spent some amount of time attempting to feng-shui the stuffed otter, and have come to the conclusion that the reason that grown-ups do not have stuffed animals is because they resist harmony and stifle beneficial energy flows.
Things I need to pick up from the old house:
Kuroneko Sama
CD rack
Big pink casserole
little clear casserole
old computer
Magic cards
Cleaning stuff, after done cleaning.
Stuff to drop off at good will:
Old vacuum
assorted dishes
four bags of stuffed animals
reproduction antique radio
framed poster
storage rack
Stuff to purchase for new apartment:
These
New broom, dustpan
Cheese grater
A swiffer duster
Couch
Coffee Table
TV stand
DVD/VHS storage device.
