Finished Harry Potter...
Jul. 24th, 2007 10:43 pmSo now I can do things like bathe, do housework, and surf the internet! Hooray!
I'm in the process of cutting up chilli ingredients, preparatory to dumping them in the crockpot before I go to work tomorrow. Oh, to get home and have dinner already made! Well, almost. I'm also in the process of re-seasoning my cast iron skillet so's I can make cornbread in it tomorrow when I get home. Josh is strenuously in favor of this plan, and seems to consider free cornbread and chilli a "good clean win."
Life is good and strangely beautiful. I appear to be in the middle of a season of plenty, and while I do still need a dvd player, a sofa, a coffee table and a tv stand, I have started actually looking forward to going home at the end of my shift, though I do still experience pangs of anxiousness about going home. I think these are more a result of habit than anything else.
Funny how one can get into emotional habits as well as behavioral ones, all unwitting.
