Lazy Tuesday
Aug. 26th, 2008 11:05 pmI was so sore today I hardly did a thing.
I got home, rode the bike for thirty minutes (hardly worked up a sweat, I feel like such a loser), made dinner, ate, did dishes, and made my lunch for tomorrow. I was intending to vacuum and pick up my room tonight, but I just never got around to it. The soreness didn't even crop up until the late morning/early afternoon, and since it did, it's been spreading. Damn it all.
I must say that the lamb chops I made tonight (pan-seared with a simple pan sauce with orange zest and thyme) really were some of the best meat I've ever had. Fantastic and tender and flavorful, and I got them to a perfect medium which was something I was concerned about because they were really really thick.
They turned out beautifully.
