Despite my opinions on Apple in general and iPods in particular, I'm not posting this to trash on Apple, or on iPods, or the husks that the iPods inhabit. I'm not so naieve as to think that the iPod is the only product that's produced like this. I understand that it's nearly impossible to lead a normal live while avoiding buying products built with labor like this, and even if you could, the other products are built using computers and robotics that are built with labor like this.
I just guess it's sad that sixteen year old kids live in hundred-people-to-a-room dorms and work long, long hours for a pittance to produce the electronics that we work eight hours a day to make more money than they make in a month, and use that money to buy iPods (cell phones, computers, etc.).
