I called Chuck's, they're dispatching a tow truck, and I called in sick to work.

I hate calling in sick to work. I HATE it. But I don't want to walk to work in forty degree weather, either. That would be begging for bronchitis. This had better not affect the second half of my bonus payout.

I have a little over 1,200 that I've squirreled away, so I'm pretty much good with a $60.00 tow. It sucks that I'll have to spend a large chunk of this money on the car, but this is exactly the sort of thing I like to have money squirreled away for.

So I guess I'll wait for the roommate to leave, clean the microwave, take some tylenol pm and go back to bed.

Assuming that you have insurance, they'll likely reimburse you for the tow.
