Pie one is in the oven... it's pumpkin. I made a graham cracker crust, coz mike likes 'em so much, and I made it extra thick. Once it's done, I think it's time for a break before I tackle pie two (blueberry, pastry crust) and the compound butter.

One of the meyer lemons made enough zest to flavor the bechamel for the green beans; I tasted it, and it's like a little bit of heaven. Once the pie comes out of the oven I might use the lemon in question to make myself a little lemonade.

I'll use the other meyer in the blueberry pie! Yum. Actually, I think blueberry pie would be good with a little rosemary in it too. Too bad I don't have any rosemary.

I have HUGE BUSHES of rosemary outside my front door. You are welcome to take as much as you would like.

Oh, I appreciate the offer very much, but I can't leave... no time! I still have so much to do!

I'd offer to bring it, but Katy and I are baking and she's making dinner for my husband. (How the hell did he work that? Two hot chicks cooking for two days straight?) ;)

So far we have a pumpkin chiffon pie and two Grand Marnier Chocolate Cheesecakes with a Sweet Potato Pie on the way!

(And a Chicken and Rice dish for eatin' tonight.)

Have fun cooking!

WOW. You are much more ambitious than I am.

I didn't do cheesecake because it's very needy in the oven (water baths and cooling stages and whatnot) and the ingredients are so expensive.

The people you're feeding are very lucky indeed.
